In conjunction with our consultants Alpha Health & Safety Ltd we have worked towards and indeed been accredited with CHAS (Construction Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). CHAS is operated by the government to ensure that bona fide construction companies are handling their H&S correctly, complying with all current legislation.
Several of our clients have been unaware of their responsibilities and duties as “persons who control premises” under section 4 of the H&S Act and the penalties which could be imposed on them if they get it wrong.
It is imperative that together with the client we implement the correct procedures from the start of the project, to ensure the safety of all concerned.
To this end we are happy to discuss the health and safety implications of any proposed projects.
